　　应重点实验室邀请，日本名古屋工业科学研究所高级研究员、中国科学院过程工程研究所客座教授、日本名古屋大学名誉教授Kenzi Suzuki将于3月21日-3月25日期间访问重点实验室并做学术报告，现将相关事宜通知如下：

　　题 目：Preparation of Porous Material Using Smectite Clay 

　　报告内容简介： 

　　Clay mineral is known as a raw material such as a teacup, a glass, a plate, a water jar, and the others in our life from ancient times, and is a very sociable material. At the same time, the clay mineral has the features such as harmless to a human body, high reversibility, and abundant deposits. Therefore, it seems to be the optimal as a material of eco-materials. In this lecture, first the clay minerals are outlined, and next, the preparation method of porous material using the smectite which is the swellable clay is explained. Furthermore, the pore size controlling method of “pillared clay” which has the two-dimensional micro pores like a multi-level car parking tower is described in detail.

　　Prof. Suzuki，日本名古屋工业科学研究所高级研究员、中国科学院过程工程研究所客座教授、日本名古屋大学名誉教授。主要研究含氧自由基材料（如钙铝石、铁酸钙等）的有效利用以及柱撑粘土的制备和应用。已发表论文200多篇，专利100多篇。
