应中国科学院可再生能源重点实验室和广东省新能源和可再生能源研究开发与应用重点实验室的邀请，英国阿斯顿大学高级讲师（副教授）余熙博士，将于7月17日下午15:00-16:30作学术报告。具体事项如下：

　　报告题目：Digital twin of biomass thermochemical conversion towards smart design and sustainable fuels  

　　摘要：The UK has enormous biomass resources which is currently underutilised. Energy from biomass accounted for about 10% of UK primary fuel supplied based on a UK government report of 2021. A technical report of energy policy concluded that biomass could provide nearly 44% of the UK's energy needs by 2050. Digitalisation of the biomass thermochemical process through digital twin technology promises transformative improvements in reactor design and optimisation. The talk will address some technical aspects of computational fluid dynamics with case studies to demonstrate the capabilities of digital twin of biomass thermochemical conversion toward smart design and sustainable gaseous fuel.  

　　三、报告人简介     

　　余熙，本科毕业于天津大学化学工程，博士毕业于谢菲尔德大学，现任英国阿斯顿大学高级讲师（副教授），研究集中在生物质能源, 多相流，计算流体力学领域，取得的一系列研究成果在新能源高效利用，燃烧污染物减排等方面有着重要地应用前景。在Renew Sust Energ Rev, Appl. Energy, Bioresour. Technol., AICHE J等国际顶级期刊发表SCI论文30余篇；在国际会议、著名大学研讨会作报告20余次；作为骨干，参与英国EPSRC, Royal Society等研究项目；担任英国BBSRC项目评审专家和20个国际知名期刊杰出审稿人。
