应中国科学院可再生能源重点实验室和广东省新能源和可再生能源研究开发与应用重点实验室的邀请，昆士兰科技大学副教授张占营博士将于10月10日上午10:00-11:30作学术报告。具体事项如下：

　　Multi-Product Biorefineries of Lignocellulosic Biomass Based on Pretreatment and Fractionation  

　　Lignocellulosic biomass, such as sugarcane bagasse and corn stover, has long been studied for the production of biofuels like bioethanol. However, the high production costs and low product value hinder the commercialization of cellulosic biofuels. Multi-product biorefineries utilizing lignocellulosic biomass to produce high-value biofuels, chemicals, and functional materials have the potential to significantly improve the process economics and are garnering increasing interest from academia and industry alike. In this presentation, Associate Professor Zhang will introduce the research progress of his group in the development of multi-product biorefinery technologies for various applications.  

　　三、报告人简介

　　张占营副教授供职于澳大利亚昆士兰州布里斯班市的昆士兰科技大学(Queensland University of Technology)。其团队长期从事农业生物质资源及食品行业废物如甘蔗渣、稻壳、糖蜜及酒糟等的增值利用工作。张占营副教授在生物质预处理、多产物生物精炼过程开发、生物基化学品和生物基功能性材料等方向发表期刊论文约100篇，会议论文12篇及书籍章节4篇。在其期刊论文中，超过85%的论文发表在Q1杂志（top 25%）上，包括Bioresource Technology, Green Chemistry, Carbohydrate Polymers, Food Chemistry 和ACS Sustainable Chemistry & Engineering。截止到2023年9月，张占营副教授论文被引用约4200次，h指数为34（Google Scholar）。张占营副教授团队现有博士后研究员两名，博士生六名，访问学生两名。团队成员来自不同国家，学术和文化氛围良好。
