应广东省可再生能源重点实验室的邀请,澳大利亚昆士兰科技大学张占营教授将于2026年9月16日(周三)来访并举行学术报告会。报告会安排如下:

报告题目:Biorefining of Agricultural Biomass into Sustainable Functional Materials

报告摘要:Agricultural biomass, such as sugarcane bagasse and rice husk, is an abundant, renewable, and low-cost bioresource for producing sustainable fuels and chemicals. However, the commercial viability of biomass valorization is currently limited by high production costs and the relatively low market value of many derived products. Biorefining of agricultural biomass into multiple value-added products, including high-value functional materials, offers a promising strategy to enhance the overall economic feasibility of such processes.

Professor Zhanying Zhang and his research group at the Queensland University of Technology (QUT) have previously developed biomass pretreatment and biorefinery technologies for converting agricultural biomass into fermentable cellulosic sugars to produce biofuels and biochemicals. In recent years, the group has focused on the production of sustainable functional materials for high-value applications. In this presentation, Professor Zhang will highlight the research progress of his group in the development of (1) biomass-derived nanomaterials, including nanocellulose, lignin nanoparticles and silica nanoparticles for advanced composites, and the formation and application of Pickering emulsions, and (2) lignin-derived carbon materials for applications in supercapacitors and sodium-ion batteries.

报告人简介


张占营教授现任职于澳大利亚昆士兰科技大学 (Queensland University of Technology,QUT) 机械、医学和化学过程工程学院。同时,其也兼任昆士兰科技大学工程学部助理部长职务,负责学部国际合作事务。

张占营教授及其生物炼制团队长期致力于农业生物质与食品工业废弃物的增值化利用。其研究领域涵盖生物质预处理、多产物生物炼制过程开发、生物基功能性材料及功能性食品成分等,并取得了广泛而深入的成果。张占营教授于2018年和2025年先后获得昆士兰州“工业杰青”(Advance Queensland Industry Research Fellowship)和澳大利亚研究委员会“工业杰青”(Australian Research Council Mid-Career Industry Fellowship)项目资助。截至到2026年8月,张占营教授共发表期刊论文146篇、会议论文12篇和书籍章节4篇。其期刊论文有约90%发表在JCR一区杂志(Top 25%),文章共计被引用约7000次,谷歌学术h指数46。最近5年,张占营教授主持和共同主持的研发项目总金额约700万澳元。项目主要有生物质基纳米材料及可降解材料(纳米纤维素、纳米二氧化硅、地膜等)、电池负极材料(硬碳、硅碳等)、功能性食品成分(益生元、油凝胶等)的开发及应用。张占营教授与工业界合作密切,已成功向企业转移科技成果2项。
